By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use CertiKeep.
2. Service
CertiKeep lets you record information about a purchase, keep a local proof-of-purchase document, track a warranty date you confirm, and schedule local reminders. Some features are offered through CertiKeep Pro.
3. Your responsibilities
- Review text-recognition fields before saving them.
- Confirm the warranty’s duration, end date, terms, and beneficiary with the retailer, manufacturer, or applicable document.
- Keep the original document where required and make any claim on time.
- Protect access to your device and add only documents you are entitled to use.
4. No legal advice
CertiKeep is an organisation tool. A suggested date, duration, or category is not a decision by a retailer, confirmation of coverage, or legal advice. Statutory rights and commercial warranties vary by product, contract, and country.
5. Free version
The planned launch version supports one active warranty and one reminder per warranty. Limits shown in the distributed build prevail when they are more favourable. Existing records are not deleted solely because a subscription ends, although some Pro actions may become unavailable.
6. CertiKeep Pro
CertiKeep Pro may include unlimited warranties, multiple reminder dates, document export, and advanced reminder controls. The features available are described on the paywall when you purchase.
7. Subscriptions and payment
- Payment is charged to your Apple account after confirmation.
- A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings before the end of the current period, within Apple’s stated time limits.
- The weekly, monthly, and annual plans include no free trial. The App Store displays the price, period, and applicable terms before confirmation; these may vary by country.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings and restore a purchase from the app.
- Refunds and payment disputes are handled under App Store rules and applicable law.
8. Notifications and availability
Reminders depend on iOS permissions, device settings, the date entered, and system operation. CertiKeep does not guarantee delivery at a precise time. You remain responsible for monitoring your deadlines.
9. Content and licence
You retain your rights in documents you add. You grant only the technical permissions needed for local processing and sharing that you initiate. The app, brand, interface, and components remain protected by their owner’s rights.
10. Prohibited use
You must not use CertiKeep to store or share unlawfully obtained documents, bypass security, disrupt the service, infringe another person’s rights, or present falsified information as authentic.
11. Backup and data loss
The version described stores records locally and does not promise cloud sync. Deleting the app or losing, damaging, or replacing the device may therefore cause permanent loss. Keep originals and any backup you need.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for an unverified incorrect duration, an undelivered notification, a rejected warranty claim, or a lost document. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
13. Changes or discontinuation
The app may change to improve security, compatibility, or features. Material changes to these terms will be dated and communicated where required by law. Paid features remain subject to applicable commitments and App Store rules.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, subject to any more protective mandatory consumer rules that apply in your country of residence. If a dispute arises, contact the publisher first to seek an amicable resolution. Any out-of-court dispute-resolution mechanism made available by mandatory applicable rules remains available where relevant; these terms do not designate a particular mediation entity. If no amicable resolution is reached, disputes may be brought before the French courts having jurisdiction under applicable law, without depriving consumers of the right to bring proceedings before any other court competent under mandatory rules.
Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply where the law provides.
